Gaskets

Virgin grade PTFE

Virgin grade PTFE (Teflon®) gaskets are made from 100% pure material which is used in most general applications. PTFE has excellent dielectric properties and provides excellent thermal insulation with an operating temperature range of -200°C to 260°C. PTFE is the most chemically resistant plastic known and is unaffected by most corrosive liquids, vapours, and gases and also provide outstanding chemical resistance for duties where hygiene and non-contamination are essential.

Sizes Available : 1 mtr x 1 mtr / Thikness - 1mm, 2mm, 3mm

Carbon-Filled PTFE

Carbon-filled PTFE gaskets are available in different compositions depending on the material to filler ratio ranging from 0.2% to 40%. These gaskets are made from PTFE resin with carbon material which exhibits excellent wear resistance, elasticity, and frictional properties. Carbon filled PTFE is especially used in applications where the seal may be exposed to higher thermal conductivity than PTFE.

Sizes Available : : 1 mtr x 1 mtr / Thikness - 1mm, 2mm, 3mm

Rulon - J (Gold)

Rulon® J is an all-polymeric reinforced, dull gold coloured PTFE compound that operates exceptionally well against soft mating surfaces such as 316 stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, brass and other plastics. The unique “shaft friendly” material is also low in friction and wear, and self-lubricating. Rulon® J has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of most reinforced PTFE materials.

Sizes Available : : 1 mtr x 1 mtr / Thikness - 1mm, 2mm, 3mm

Polyurethane Gaskets

Polyurethane gaskets provide outstanding resistance to abrasion, excellent resilience to deformation under load and perform well against chemicals, oils, weathering and ultraviolet light. The polymer is highly resistant to tear and is often applied on flanges that are subject to vibration, contraction and expansion (dependent on the hardness).

Sizes Available : : 1 mtr x 1 mtr / Thikness - 2mm, 3mm, 4mm

Non-asbestos Aramid Fiber with NBR binder

Non-asbestos aramid fiber gasket with NBR binder is a compressed non‐asbestos materi- al produced from a combination of aramid fiber and other synthetic fibers and bonded with nitrile rubber (NBR). Compressed sheet constructed with fibers providing chemical stability and heat resistance. The Nitrile binder offers good resistance to various oils, petroleum derivatives, low pressure steam, gases, etc. Resistance to high temperature creep with torque retention provides its sealing properties. This material is particularly good in 150 lb., and 300 lb. flange gaskets, steam applications. Suitable for potable water.

Sizes Available : : 1.5 mtr x 1.6 mtr / Thikness - 1mm, 2mm, 3mm

Glass Fiber with NBR Binder

Glass Fiber with NBR Binder gaskets are unique gaskets with higher compressibility and higher service temperature capabilities and are used in general chemical applications.

Sizes Available : : 1.5 mtr x 2 mtr / Thikness - 2mm, 3mm

Cork Rubber

Cork is a highly resilient material used in manufacturing gaskets. It allows compression in one direction without dimension loss in the other. In addition, it is frequently combined with rubber granules that are excellent gasket components, especially for forming effective seals. They are resistant to corrosion and degradation by water, chlorides, and other environmental exposures.

Sizes Available : : 1 mtr x 1 mtr / Thikness - 2mm, 3mm, 4mm

Cellulose Fibre Gaskets

Cellulose Fibre Gaskets with nitrile rubber binder having medium compressibility, good torque retention and ability to seal under high compression loads and excellent resis- tance to water and atmospheric humidity applications such as Material Handling equipment. Chemical pumps and pipelines diesel engines fuel water pump, carburetor, gear boxes & Oil pans etc. and Operating temperature is upto 150 Deg. C.

Sizes Available : : 1 mtr x 1 mtr / Thikness - 2mm, 3mm, 4mm

Gaskets Material Selection

Following are the key considerations while selecting a gasket material:

Temperature: The temperature range is it expected to withstand

Pressure: The pressure range is it expected to withstand

Media: The fluid media which the materials will be exposed to, for e.g., whether the process fluids are abrasive or corrosive?

UV and ozone exposure: will it be exposed to UV radiation and ozone?
